Not a great fit to the weapon, other holsters they offer are a better fit. The Kydex wasn't molded precisely, front sight got hung up, which made it hard to unholster. I wound up throwing out the Kydex & keeping the leather backer and clips in my spare parts drawer.

I purchased an Ava holster for a S & W easy slide 9 mm. It fits the gun perfectly, is extremely comfortable to wear and it is purple!! I love it!

I love this holster. I have looked and gone through so many and they have all been too stiff or just didn’t sit right on me this one has been amazing. Can’t wait for them to offer more fits.

Let's start at the beginning. I have had my concealed carry permit for several years, but I did not have the perfect concealed carry piece to use it regularly. Recently, I found the piece. My pistol is a Kimber, and it is a 1911 style gun. When it came to finding custom, Kydex holsters, many of the mainstream companies did not make them for my pistol.Then, I found Flashbang. Company owned by women and made for women. A little pricey for sure, but the end product is worth it. I struggled to decide which holster to buy because I am short and tiny. Needed something versatile and would hold without a belt. The Ava was perfect for my needs.The Ulticlips are super cool. However, it is a bit difficult to figure out how you should adjust the Ava. I had this issue. Once I adjusted it, it fit perfectly. I also wish the Ava came with an extra set of screws because the UltipClip3+ is made to secure the holster with 2 screws instead of one. An extra screw would make the UltipClip more secure, so it does not move as easily on your body.It will take a bit to get used to a Kydex holster. You may have to loosen the screws on the Kydex a bit to ensure your pistol can move in and out quickly without hangups. The velvet leather on the back is very comfortable. The Ava works well with work pants, leggings, and jeans without a belt. However, I could not get it to work well with running shorts. You might need a different concealed carry option for Nike shorts. Overall: 8/10

Every question and concern I had they answered!Secondly, the QUALITY AND WORKMANSHIP of the Ava holster is tremendous.Being a long time horse person, you recognize fine leatherwork when you see it. This is certainly that.The clips are VERY secure even on capris or leggings. The leather backing behind the Kydex holster is safefirm, but not too firm to impede a draw. I got the holster that would have room for an optical site, andit fits perfectly. The Kydex holster is mounted on the leather backing, which has suede against your skin.SOOO comfortable, even sitting down. It doesn't make you perspire even on hot, humid days. Even wearing soft waisted leggings or similar, I have no impedance because of a "mushy " release, or toomuch flex in my clothing. Perfect smooth out, every time. Added plus the leather /sweat backing protects your weapon from body oils and perspiration. It also is very good at stopping unwanted "imprinting" even under lighter summer clothing. Smoooooth. I am an older gal, a bit "curvy" LOL to say the least,😆 and this holster is VERY comfortable. Added plus, custom colors/ patterns , because even though I carry protection, I am still a girlwho likes pretty things! 🩷Also thank you to Flashbang the added note, magnet, and sticker, nice touch! I love the comfort level of the Ava. I was starting to despair to find a holster that would work for cc for me. Everything I have tried before were so uncomfortable I couldn't stand them more than an hour or so. The Ava is so comfortable I can wear it all day. I have purchased one for my husband and it is also his favorite from a comfort standpoint.

I bought a 2nd Ava for my other pistol because the Ava is now my favorite since it fits inside of my waist and since I have only partial use of my right arm now, having access right in front of my jeans and the Ava leather being so smooth against my skin is perfect for me! Thanks to y'all my Flashbang ladies for making these holsters the best! :)

I wanted a kydex holster that wouldn't pinch in my skin and this holster is PERFECT! Feels so good and secure in leggings. 10/10 recommend! May even get a second color. Special thanks to the ladies who made this company. Geeked on my magnet with scripture. Keep spreading the Lord's love❤️

It’s a bit tight on the draw. Need to practice with it and see if it works in or if I need to adjust it. Love the clips. No belt and can wear it with any pants. Workmanship is awesome.

I recently purchased the "Ava" holster (funny coincidence that Ava Crowder was one of my favorite characters on "Justified". One can just see her carrying a 1911 style .45 with it)I wear it at 4 o'clock and keep a Sig Sauer P238 with 7rd magazine (8rds of hollow-point total) in it.This combination feels so comfortable and natural that I have actually napped on the couch with the Sig in place. No one ever knows I'm carrying, which is how I want it. I never talk about it, never show it.Recently, I took "Holster Fundamentals" class at Bristlecone Shooting in Lakewood CO so I can practice draw & shoot at the range. Our instructor was impressed as well. D&S from this holster is very easy and natural...and accurate.Not thrilled about the aqua coloring, but the sale price more than made up for that; truth told, anyone but me see it and it may be last thing they see anyway;-)I would highly recommend the Ava, it's a GREAT holster!—A
