The Amelia is arguably one of the thinnest-profile IWB holsters on the market today. Because adding bulk adds difficulty during concealment, slim and minimal holsters are a game changer!
Many IWB holsters offer some kind of wing to help pull the grip of the gun in close to your body. Since the grip is typically the part of your gear that prints, it makes sense to add a wing to your concealed carry holster. That's easy! Once the grip is tucked in, the next concealment challenge is usually the clip on your holster. The slim profile of the DCC Monoblock and the Ultituck combined with a Concealment Wing basically make your firearm invisible! Concealment magic at its finest!
Which Clip Should I choose?
The DCC Monoblock and the Ultituck are both fantastic options no matter how you carry. They grip securely to the fabric of your waistband so you can be confident that your holster will stay put as you draw. Ultimately, the best clip for you is a personal choice. Sometimes the minor differences between them make one or the other perfectly suited for your individual needs. For example:
- If you sometimes wear a belt, the DCC clip will fit over a 1.5" wide belt, while the Ulticlip is designed to fasten to the fabric behind the belt -offering a little more concealment, but without the added stability a belt can bring
- If tucking in your shirt is a priority, the Ultituck is made so that the tail of your shirt has room to go behind the clip, while the DCC is not made to be tuckable.
- If your clip is the part that tends to print, the DCC is a better solution for you because of how slim it is along the holster.
- If you need to take your firearm off your waistband during the day, the DCC is easier to quickly remove and put back on.
- If you want to adjust the angle or depth of carry of your holster, the Ultituck can be adjusted slightly while the DCC is fixed in place.

We are Flashbang fans but these Amelia Bodyguard 2.0 holsters are disappointing. With proper tension on the tension **** the holsters rattle, a lot. Additionally these holsters do not have the additional material removed like your other holsters so that when worn appendix, these really jab the leg excessively.
I’d talked to Lisa about the added length that you do with your holsters for the Bodyguards and I did buy the holster again knowing this but will point out again that I don’t think it’s needed in all cases. Just food for thought.

This product is everything it’s talked up to be and more!! I am impressed with the perfect fit and how sturdy it is without a belt. This is an extremely comfortable fit. I am a little bit bigger and do recommend the wing.
Also I can not say enough about this company/ the companies customer service. Above and beyond is an understatement. My Apple Pay was giving me some issues and even on a weekend my communication with real people (not robots) was easy and resolved so fast. I was highly impressed with the company and the product. Glock 17 fit? I hear ya, girl! 😃 The barrel length on that one makes it a little tough for IWB carry for most women, but I'll add it to our fit request list as a suggestion for the future ❤️

The holster fits well and is extremely light, which is fabulous. I have a difficult time finding a good fit with anything, and it is by far and hands down the bast holster I've found. Additonally, Lisa and Julie are just delightful humans and were very helpful and responsive. I highly recommend their products.

Overall I am pleased with the holster. It’s a new firearm for me as well so adjusting to a little different size there. Monoblock clips are very secure. The top of the holster butts right up against the safety so I have to make sure I click it in all the way.

I needed a holster to replace my Flashbang while pregnant, and was recommended the Amelia w/DCC monoblock, & I added the concealment wing. 10/10 recommend for pregnant girlies!! I have so many flash bangs but I have to say this is the first that didn’t impress me. It sits up too high above the pants and really a hard conceal for me. I have the Betty and that I really love.

The holster is okay. The wing is crap. I really wanted to be positive about this but I can’t. The holster is thin and light, I expected that but the wing just folds back flush with the back of the holster.

This is my second holster from the ladies at Flashbang, my first being a bra holster for my revolver. This is the first in-waist holster I’ve ever had and it is seriously the only one I’ll ever use! I’ve used it with jeans, shorts, and pajama pants and my gun stays perfectly in place. I got the utility clip and utilituck and there is NO imprinting at all! I can move around without worry that it’s going to fall off or flip around. Pulling from it is super easy and the holster stays put.

For my G42:This holster is really solid. It covers the trigger guard perfectly and has a nice click with good retention. The kydex is slim and the claw/wing will get the job done for this small gun. It looks really nice, and the addition of DCC clips are what takes it to the next level.The holster does drag against the gun on entry and exit, but I'm okay with it as the coverage is so solid and the fit is so close the gun once it connects. There's maybe an opportunity under the wing to round out the edge a bit more but that is being pretty picky. Overall, I'm happy with it. For the price, it's hard to beat. If you want to take this holster to the next level, then try to integrate +/- 30 ish degrees of tilt adjustability.

I absolutely LOVE this holster. Perfect, especially for us girls that don't wear belts. The utility clip is amazing. It stays put and is still easy to draw from. With continuous wear it forms to your shape and is very comfortable to wear. I would easily order one for my other "lil kids" but the selection of what they make them for is limited. Hands down the best.
