Perfect for Larger Firearms
Because the Ava uses two attachment points, it provides a more stable platform for larger firearms. More stable equals more comfortable. You won't find yourself constantly adjusting your holster throughout the day. It also makes your draw faster because there won't be as much holster-shift as you pull your firearm. Don’t let the larger footprint of the leather backing dissuade you from looking at a hybrid holster option. While it looks big compared to a full kydex holster, the benefits of the suede against your body (for both comfort and concealment) can’t be beat!
Clip Options
We have two fantastic clip options on our Ava holster. Both work great with or WITHOUT a belt! Ulticlips are made to latch onto the fabric of your waistband (similar to a suspender clip), and a belt can be worn over the top of the clip if desired. The DCC Clip attaches securely to your waistband with a little metal tooth that bites into the fabric. It can be hooked over a 1.5" width belt or used very securely without one. We love both clip options and can confidently recommend either one to consistently keep the holster in place no matter how thin the fabric of your clothing is. Ultimately, the decision comes down to personal preference.
I’ve had my Ava Holster for a few weeks now. I wear it daily and feel more confident knowing this holster will stay put. I am SO happy I got the UltiClips! I practice drawing my gun and the holster stays in its place even with leggings on. I’ve tried others that slips around or that try to come out with the gun. This Ava holster is my first "big girl" holster, after having using my husband's old generic holsters for the past several months after I bought my first ccw. I wanted a holster that had a small profile and barely-there feel, and although the Ava has more surface area than the Betty, for example, it feels like I'm basically wearing nothing. I love that I can wear the Ava with leggings, thanks to the UltiClips, and don't need to wear a belt at all when carrying with jeans. It's not uncomfortable against my bare skin, either. The backside is made of suede and ensures that it's soft against the skin. Another win with the Ava is the adjustable clips, letting the wearer adjust the cant of the holster. I carry behind my hip around the 7 or 8 o'clock position because I have a little bit of a tummy and the Ava does not disappoint as far as comfort, which is my number one priority.

As a bigger gal, I needed a holster that was going to form to me, work with my body type and keep my EDC safe and secure and look cute all at the same time! The Ava is by far the best holster I have and I have my fair share of holsters in every shape, size and form I could find to try, I just could not find a kydex holster that was comfortable to me. They either stuck to me or was cold to the touch and stayed cold during the winter, would stick to my side when sitting down or getting up, sometimes that hurt, they didnt move with my body, nor form to my body in a way I needed. When I first saw the Ava I knew I had found my forever holster! I finally received it right at the beginning of summer so this was going to be the ultimate test. I hate being hot and I hate anything sticking to my body when Im hot so with hating hot and sticky I thought for sure Id give up on IWB carry and just stick with the purse I got for EDC. The first time I wore it, I was blown away, it formed to my side within a few days, it did not stick to me, it moved with me almost as if it was a part of my clothes. It is so well put together and so comfortable! I love the fact that I was able to "create" the look I wanted with the clips that worked best for me since I am more of a yoga pant person now days. I love the ulticlip so much! The Ava ulticlips to my yoga pants and Im good to go. I dont have to worry about adjusting every 5 mins or that I wont be able to adequately pull my pistol if ever in a sour situation. Once I was completely satisfied with the fit and feel I used some loctite on the screws so they would not come undone. Now I have an Ava for each of my carry pistols and could not be happier! I know I will have no problems if a situation were to arise and if not, I am safe, prepared, super comfortable and stylish at the same time! Now if only they made a OWB with ulticlips, Id be in heaven! lol. v I love both my Ava's and have every intention of buying another if need be. I will not purchase anything else to assist in keeping me safe. Dont pass this holster by, you will love it!

Excellent holster. Easy to forget it's there. Very soft yet extremely sturdy. I love that I can adjust it to sit how it works best for my body type and ease of draw.

I LOVE my ava! I have several holsters, but this is the best. I love the comfort of it and almost forget I'm wearing it. I wear alot of leggings and am on the curvy side. This holster stays put and is incredibly comfortable! I recommend this to everyone I can. I will definitely purchase another in the future!
